Zilda Arns was a doctor, founder and coordinator of the Pastoral da Criança and Pastoral da Pessoa Idosa. She received several special mentions and honorary citizen titles in the country. In 2012, she was elected the 17th greatest Brazilian of all time.
For the Zilda armchair, we sought to express all the strength and generosity of the great woman that she was, in addition to her gaze full of love and kindness, reflected in the comfort and fluid design of the piece. The ties on the arm and back were inspired by the fabric used to weigh children during the pastoral visits to communities.
